Meet Dr. Saari
Dr. Paul Saari has been providing outstanding dental care services since 1979. Dr. Saari was raised in Lakeland, Florida and graduated from Kathleen High School in 1971. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1975 from Florida State University and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Emory University School of Dentistry in 1979.
Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Saari had the opportunity to work with and study under Dr. Alvin J. Fillastre, an internationally recognized clinician and lecturer. He entered his solo practice of dentistry in 1985.
To stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, Dr. Saari maintains active membership in numerous professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Polk County Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Frank Spear Study Club. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy (International Honorary Dental Organization), and a former President of the Polk County Dental Association and the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Outside the office, he enjoys flying his Piper J-3 Cub, running, reading, and spending time with his wife Kay; their children Kai, Elizabeth and her husband Brendan, Kristin and her husband Matt, a grandson Milo and a long-haired miniature dachshund named Tasha!
